Classic Art for Modern Use

Museum-quality art for writers and trying out voice overs

I wrote an article about some free art resources for writers, in hopes that they would be less likely to rely on AI-generated art for their work. You can take a look at it here (https://open.substack.com/pub/threeeyesstudio/p/free-art-that-wont-get-you-sued?r=5tf9nf&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true)

The artwork from these resources is mind-blowingly good, so good that museums decided they were worth keeping. And now, because the artists are long dead and the works are in the public domain, writers can use them to attract more readers.

The link will take you to Substack. Though I still have the blog on my website, I wanted to try out Substack because it allows me to easily make voiceovers. Sometimes I really like to listen to what I'm reading so I thought you might too.

To lead by example, I'm working on a design based off an old artwork (found from one of those free resources I mentioned).

Here's the original artwork

And here is the work in progress as of this writing.

You'll be the first to know when it's finished.
